People often ask me to help with their computers and gadgets.  Maybe it's running really slowly all of a sudden, or they think they have a virus, or they want to buy a new machine, but are bewildered by the options out there.  Maybe their network doesn't reach their guest house, or they hear a rattling noise in their hard drive.  Or maybe they just bought Final Draft or Movie Magic, but can't figure it out.

Finally - this is really Peter Basch's site.  It's done with a very flexible open-source package called Joomla.  Sure, you can use Dreamweaver, but that's expensive, and a pretty steep learning curve.  Joomla is free, and, while it isn't AT ALL idiot-proof, is easier to use.  You could do straight-ahead HTML editing, and/or CSS, which is great to advance your knowledge, but if you have anything else to do, forget it.  I think Joomla may turn out to be the solution that is free, reasonably easy to maintain and upgrade, and won't take all day.  Stay tuned.
